Staycation: Oasia Downtown Hotel

Hi guys!!!

I am finally back after procrastinating for the longest time everrrrrr~ probably got two years ba? So anyway, like my title reads, I AM FINALLY POSTING ABOUT WHAT I LIKE BEST, AND THAT WOULD BE STAYCATION-ING!!!

So for my 25th birthday this year, my girlfriends decided to get me a night at Oasia hotel downtown as my present, how perfect right! 😍 

There are basically a few hotels in Singapore that allow you to get vouchers that are valid for a period of time before redemption for stay expires. Obviously Oasia was one of them. My girlfriends were sweet enough to book a Club Room with benefits for me ans here are some photos:

When I do my business I can still check out what my bf is doing outside 😂 but obviously he cannot see me la!

Here are some of the amenities they have:

Nespresso machine! (who doesn't like a cup of nice coffee when they wake up)



If you don't like kopi they have TWG tea also la


Bathrobes and slippers 

Umbrella also for you to defend yourself in case of any attacks LOL  

The best part? FREE CALLS AND DATA ON THIS HANDY PHONE! 

I think this phone comes in handy especially for travelers from overseas cause you can use it to navigate around and it's free leh walau. I didn't really get to use this but I've tried it overseas and it even allows you to on hotspot for your phone which is best if you need to stay connected on social media and whatsapp?

I would say that the room is pretty much very sufficient in what I need and did I mention the mini bar was included too?!?

Club benefits actually includes free lounge access which provides free flow of alcohol & canapés daily from 1800 to 2000 so mini bar or not also no issues laaaa~ 

Not only that, breakfast is included and you get access to this pool that is meant for club room only! SHIOK OR WHAT?! 🤤

We were too hungry and decided to order laksa cause I was really craving for it, but WAH the laksa really no joke?!? Two of us can barely finish lor!!

It's a pity that I didn't get to take the photo of the view from my room but I really really liked this place!!! Not only the bed and pillows are comfy, it is super affordable (~320SGD per night) and service was top notch 👍🏻👍🏻

Sooooooo, for a start,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Okay maybe a bit too late la but rather late than never right 😝

Well, I actually started my 2017 quite badly. My last and first flight of the year was ADL, which was a station I only did ONCE so far so okay la, like i wasn't too sian being called up for it. But the flight was so tense because someone decided to make fun of someone else by asking if her name is gay twice. Like honestly who will call themselves gay right? 🙄

Aiya all in short its just stupid because you preach to make the last flight the best, and give 2017 a good start but it NEVER happened. 

Well but the fireworks in ADL was good enough to make me forget all these nonsense 👍🏻

 

  

With that, Jan is already more than half gone, CNY up next and this year is really packed until..... 

Havent really got the time to breathe normally or even rest fully but already planning for next event 😩

Lastly, maybe I should set some goals for 2017 right?

Hmmmm....... fact is I do set goals but it seems like it will never be achieved knowing how lazy I am HAHAHA. 

Okay la, I just wish to do something major this year, eg. Apply for flat soon HAHA thank god he doesnt read my blog or else sure stress.

Besides that I also want to save at least 20 before I quit 👍🏻💪🏻 not gonna think much esp nowadays allowance are so...... kelian.

Shall go back to sleep! Indigestion + insomnia can only spell one thing; Aunty P is coming soon 😿 see you guys! 💋

Away from home

Hello February, how have you been so far?

Today is my second day in Johannesburg and I'm enjoying it so far. Three more days till I say goodbye to this beautiful city.

I wouldn't have thought that South Africa is so developed and people here are living their lives to the fullest. Definitely an eye opener for me.

However, what's not so great is I have to fight with my lousy stomach. Been having diarrhea since the day I land here. Hopefully I will recover or else maybe I really need some liquid diet.
